Pulse Cataloging Assistant 2.0

The Pulse Cataloging Assistant 2.0 was constructed as a client / server application in VB6 and MS Access. It was designed to interface with Pulse Embroidery software from Pulse Microsystems. It was developed for StitcheryAndMore in Leduc Alberta. See the following for more information.

  1. Convenient cataloging of thousands of designs into one, easy, intuitive interface.
  2. Automatically creates PDF files of existing or proposed designs and emails them to the customer for verification.
  3. Keeps track of stitch count, width, height, and ID number of each design.
  4. Automatically creates thumbnails of each design for convenient previewing.
  5. Allows searching via name or ID code.
  6. Client version allows customers to search through thousands of designs categorically to find the one they want, allowing staff to attend to other duties while the customer fnds the design they want.
  7. Automatically converts old ID codes into new ID codes, allowing for easy migration from other systems.
  8. Allows PXF embroidery files to be opened directly from the user interface, using whatever software the designer wishes.
  9. Allows DST files to be sent directly to disc without having to open any other programs.
  10. Allows the color scheme of the User Interface to easily customized according to the color scheme of the organization using the program.
  11. Includes a built-in browser button to open the Internet browser to the company's website.
  12. Allows all email Artwork Approval settings to be fully customized.
  13. Allows all artwork specifications to be modified or updated at any time.
  14. Permits easy addition of new artwork to the system.
